Worship is at the heart of all that we do at Emmanuel. Our common prayer grounds us, nourishes us, and challenges us to step out into the world and help to build a better world. Most of our services come from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, although we also offer services that use different resources. Most of our worship services take place in the Sanctuary, though more casual services take place in our Parish Hall, or in the Garth – a lovely walled Garden of Remembrance in in the center of our complex.
As a community, we are both “spiritual and religious.” Although we have our own times of quiet prayer at home, we find great value in gathering with others for worship on a regular basis. Joining together to lift our voices in praise and/or lament, we become more than our individual selves, and together we are able to find ways to express our deepest longings and offer them to our loving Creator.
Come and worship with us, and add your prayers to ours.
